The Effects of TikTok Application on the Improvement of EFL Students’ English-Speaking Skills

Technology development and the COVID-19 pandemic altered teaching learning processes. TikTok, a social media platform that integrates short videos, became medium of instruction to help students master communication skills, in particular listening speaking skills. This study, using mixed-methods research, investigated effects TikTok application on EFL students’ skills perceptions toward use improve their Speaking tests questionnaires were administered 60 enrolled public class. Additionally, 13 volunteered take part semi-structured interviews. The results showed was effective improving English-speaking Moreover, had positive towards application. Most agreed utilizing is enjoyable promotes creativity, provides new opportunities learn English. should be integrated into language contexts make classroom environment more engaging promote proficiency.
